Hello world and welcome to the ABST blog for Richmond, Kentucky 2014!

As the worries of the group seemed to fade away in the first couple of meetings we've had, our excitement is growing by the minute! In these first meetings we got to know each other with some inventive ice breakers courtesy of Marya (bios to come), discussed what Habitat for Humanity is and what it stands for as an organization, and talked about what were more most excited for on the trip. The general consensus was that we were most excited to work alongside the Habitat workers and hear their stories of why they are there. With a little over two months until the trip, the anticipation is really starting to build as we get to know each other and the place we will soon be visiting!
